I haven't messed around with my Pi in about 12 months and today saw this. It's emulation station but with a video playing for each game.

is this through the Silph scraper thing? If not how is this achieved?

      Thanks

@Angelus3K In recent months EmulationStation has gained the ability to render videos as well.

I don't believe SSelph's scraper fetches video data, though, but there are plenty of sources you can get them from - emumovies.com is a known one, and I personally like progettoemma as well for MAME (though I need to convert some of them to work in my case).

Ideally you won't want to use anything above 480x360 @30fps on the Pi running VLC at the moment.

There are quite a few topics in the forums on how to add videos to your gamelists and such.

        Best of luck!

@pjft great thanks! I haven't even updated to Jessie yet lol. Time for a complete overhaul!
