[Suggestion] Scroll game description with right analog
-
It would be cool if you could scroll the game description with the right analog stick.
Keep the autoscroll but allow you to manually scroll the description if you want, and then if you leave the stick untouched after x time re-enable the autoscroll.Discuss!
-
Hmm, that could be cool, but if you use a snes controller like I do, it won't help at all.

well it's not really a necessary feature, just a neat addition. ES would work without an analog stick, but for those with an analog stick, there's extra functionality.
@madmodder123 Personally I would also enjoy having this, but obviously it's not a necessity (and there's plenty of other things if like to see more than this). But great suggestion!

I know, but for some people it wouldn't help at all. It would make more sense to put it on the D pad because that is what you use for scrolling anyways...
-
@CodeDrawer Well the D-Pad is used for navigating the Games and Systems. How would you reconcile that?

Actually, it would make the most sense to make this a configurable option: let the user select SCROLL UP, SCROLL DOWN inputs. On my cabinet, I could set it to the right joystick, or a spinner, etc.
-
@caver01 Yeah, that's what I thought too... So user who want and able to use this can map it if they want

I'd be cool with that
