Retrorama Comic Theme
-
@lipebello your SpaceOddity theme is now installable via RetroPie-Setup. I would like to suggest you to create a new forum topic for that theme and leave this one here only for RetroRama stuff. ;-)
Thanks for your art bro!

@meleu agree
-
@meleu Thank you! gonna make a topic for Space Oddity
-
-
@lilbud Yeah! although my inspiration was the moon theme from Ducktales, i named it Space Oddity because of this song
-
@lipebello hi man! Any news for custom collection for Retrorama? Thanks
-
This theme is awesome! +1 on interest in custom collections. Not sure if ES supports it yet but ideally I'd love your wicked artwork for views of collections of: 1980s, 1990s, Beat'em Ups, Shumps, Fighters.

@lipebello Thank you so much for the wonderful theme! Any chance in the future you will add the Euro-version of the SNES? Would be even awesomer :)
-
@alphaumi Thanks! Snes pal is already there. the name is "snespal", you can change it on the <theme>snes</theme> tag on es_systems.cfg
-
@lipebello is it possilbe to make it show the box art than fade to video snap?
-
@lipebello Nice updated, love the sounds
-
@lipebello Really nice theme ;)
-
@lipebello Will you be making a theme specifically for small screens like 3.5 inch and below?
-
@hex i made some sketches to a small screen theme. already found out that the resolution is 320x240. i'm thinking in make it with a few systems so people can test it to see if it looks good, then keep doing it
-
@lipebello The resolution is 320x240 if and only if using DPI/HDMI.
If using Composite (majority of the screens are) the resolution is (720x576) PAL or (720x480) NTSC. Please take a note of this.
Many themes dont work as expected if they are made for 320x240 and user is using composite. This is because Pi outputs either PAL or NTSC resolution only (for composite) and the display IC scales it to screen size (320x240, 480x272)
Here is a small program I wrote that gives you exactly the resolution Pi is outputting

@Hex , i don't have a small screen to test it, so, if i make a theme in 720x480, it will work ?
-
if you make it for 720x480 720x576 and 320x240 then it covers all variations
