      Hello,

I'm new to retropi with some experience in Linux. I'm having trouble configuring the USB n64 controller I bought. When I open the rom of paper Mario, I only have access to some buttons required for the game. I am not able to hit select+x because neither my n64 or snes controller have the x button available in-game. I've also tried to configure my keyboard as a controller, but after configuring it on emulation station, again I have limited access to buttons in-game, just as with the other controllers.

I'm now having a problem where when I'm playing paper Mario, and I go through a pipe, the game quits itself and I end up back at the N64 game list screen. This started happening after I updated all retropie files, including the kernel

This is really frustrating. It's impossible for me to play this game now. The game didn't start quitting of its own volition until I updated my retropie
