Neo Geo X Build
-
Hello,
I registered on the forum, to ask you if it is possible to have the theme "Neo Geo X Build" with the work of Stuart2773 which made Final Burn and PGM, I must say that it is the most theme that I had seen on retropie !!!
I hope not to be rude
Thank you for everything.

I still love playing on my NeoGeo X with the pi.
[Modified Ruckage theme, it's over year old now.]
It works on 4:3 for the old crt TV. Arcade perfect. I also made loads of different custom bezels for systems in use.
Music can be switched off as I all videos have sound as I retrimmed them all adding the fade affects and sound normalised each video. Took a while to sort for my taste. Box art added for the screen saver and video loading screens for each system.

Re: Neo Geo X Build
Very good with neo geo x screen!!! where i can donwload it? what is the zoom option when you choose the game, i'll try put the new unibios on neo geo.
-
Nice! I’m rocking the mini theme as well!
-
@joharibk Where did you get your neogeo cart art?
-
@Darksavior Did it myself. I pick and choose which games i want on my pi. so ill do whichever that I have on it.
-
@joharibk Ah, ok. Yea, I could only find high res art for the cd games: (pegasus frontend with my own customized (buggy) stock theme)
-
@Darksavior I've looked everywhere for the set artwork that is used for the NeoGeo arcade stick but couldn't find any. I hope someone shares it or do those box art, that would be awesome! The pegasus frontend do you install it on the pi? does it perform well?
-
@joharibk @Darksavior
I've been working on my own set of square art for my Neo Geo Mini theme. I've completed Neo Geo and I'm currently working on CPSI/II/III.Here's a preview of some of the images:
-
@ruckage Share. Share. Share. :) I never get myself doing all NeoGeo box art and starting on cps box art just took a toll on my old laptop. now I got like 30 NeoGeo games and 8 cps games that I've done the artwork.
-
@joharibk
I will when they're finished, I don't even have them in my own build yet :) -
@ruckage Means you'll be sharing an updated version of your NeoGeo mini-theme as well.. yeah! Wink Wink here's hoping. ..
-
@joharibk
Other than maybe a few more visual themes there isn't really anything that I think needs adding to the Neo geo mini theme as it's pretty much complete, though if you have any suggestions for improvement feel free to let me know. The only thing I may add at some point is an optional view that displays video previews alongside the grid since we now have that functionality in the latest versions of ES. -
@joharibk Yes, pegasus runs well on my pi4. It's still in alpha, so I had to edit its config files like increasing the default 256p to 512p so it doesn't look blurry.
-
I redid all the stock type icons years back for the NeoGeo X and CPS. I have them somewhere.
Hopefully some more box art will be available soon.
-
@legacy That is so cool.. how can I miss this. Looks so good with like minimal setup theme.
-
I just finished all 229 square images that cover NeoGeo, CPS I/II/III ...
-
@ruckage hell yeah! Tell me kind sir, when will you be sharing this.. haha..
-
@joharibk
Won't be too long, in order to work best on the PI with the Neo Geo Mini theme they will need to be re-sized to the optimal size and compressed slightly so to minimise any lag. I'll release them with the full size images as well though (504x504) for those who might want them for other themes as preview images.Here's what a few of the full size images look like:
