output problem

I have installed retropie onto the PI3 model B, but the output on my pioneer plasma is
anyone has any idea how this can be fixed?

@shingouki What is the resolution of your TV?
Did you create anedid.dat
file for some reason? Was the Pi not seeing the television?
Why have you got this set to 1080p @ 50Hz? Most TVs would behdmi_mode=16
ie 1080p @ 60Hz.Have a read through this regarding

i think this sort of picture can happen if you have a bad HDMI cable. have you any others you can test with?

Looks like this is the cause, changed the cable and now it is fine. Thanks for yout help..

@shingouki i cant find anything on the web about hdmi_edid_file=1. Can you tell me what it is used for?
