almost seems like they have it locked down by the MAC addresses so then they can control and force you to pay.... sadly

Wow, so you don't have an actual router, you're just plugging directly into the wall with each device? Can your "device" be a router with a built-in switch that's doing its own internal DHCP? My ISP provides me with a modem, and it's up to me what I plug into it.

if they opened everything then all you need to do is have the pi connected to Ethernet when you turn it on. everything else for it would be done automatically.

you said that you have a switch that everything is plug into... are there lights on the port that the pi is connected to.?

you shoudl determine if your normal PC uses DHCP or FIXED ip. If DHCP then plug the pi into the ethernet switch and turn it on, if fixed ip then you may need to call them up and request an ip to set it to manually.

@spruce_m00se the problem is that that they dont want to cooperate with me,they simply answer that I should do everything by myself they just have no idea about anything except putting wires and dropping the phone all the time when you call them about internet troubles or shouting when you ask questions .Probably I should find another provider with better service

you should probably find one that supplies a fibre or asdl line to a modem in your house and lets you manage the connection. I have never heard of one that doesnt do that before though, so maybe you are doing something wrong ?
