Hi. I know you cant run retropi/emulationstation from PIXEL. It's either or.

But can you install retroarch (which is a part of emulation station? I'm a bit confused), and run i directly from PIXEL?

I have set up my Pi3 to be a plex media server, and i can't get it to work unless i boot to PIXEL. So I'm wondering if I can run retroarch from there? I don't want the hassle of dualbooting.

      Thanks:)

Ok. So I found a way to install pixel along side retro pie (I'm on a phone and can't find the link).
Basically what it does is close pixel and run emulation station. Once you are don it will automatically boot pixel again.
In this scenario, will my plex service still run in the background all the time?

        Thanks
