PSX Bios question

If the PSX BIOS says "PCSX" at the bottom when loading, does that mean that it's in HLE mode, or do I have the correct BIOS?

@Dinierto I don't remember the exact wording, but if it doesn't use the bios, pcsx will tell you something like "no bios found. expect errors".

@Darksavior Okay well it doesn't do that. However I can't get PSX to run at 1080p with default settings which is why I was asking about the BIOS. So if it's not a BIOS issue I wonder why it won't run smoothly at 1080?

My guess is, insufficient power (lightning bolt icon), heat (temp icon), or you're not using a pi3. Games with a native higher res like Tekken3 are too slow on an overclocked pi2. Enabling the enhanced resolution psx option will also cause slowdowns on a pi2.

@Darksavior I don't have any of those issues. I have enhanced resolution off.
