      Hello

      I bought a Pi Zero and downloaded the 4.2 for the Zero. But now I can't seem to get my 037b5-ROMs to work. I just get the common "error files missing" when trying to launch a game. When I try to change the emulator from the launch menu I can't find lr-imame4all, there's only the mame-mame4all option. Any ideas?

      Help much appreciated

        lr-mame4all was recently renamed to lr-mame2000 :)

        @BuZz You were right, it's used :)

          lr-mame4all is definitely missing a few things like save states & the config menu (Tab) which is needed to setup players 2-4 if you have more than one player or obscure game configs that don't work with the default keys. Access to the history.dat, dip switches, etc. It seems you're almost better off with mame4all (better configuration control i.e. - select + down and <NOT> configs with no double inputs) or mame2003 (shaders & Retroarch) not sure of a lr-mame4all advantage, smaller ROM set?

            @Riverstorm

            Seems like mame4all is the only choice when going with a Zero I guess. But how do I get the ROMs to work? My 037b5 set should work, right?

              @kraken0667 That romset will work fine. There is no guess work to this. Unless you want endless headaches. If the emulator isn't installed, go install it from retropie-setup. More info: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/MAME

                @Darksavior

                I think it's already installed, mame4all is the only option that pops up in launch menu.

                The ROMs work on my older mame4all-setup, so there's nothing wrong with those.

                How do I install emualtors from the retropie-setup btw? Cant find that option

                  @kraken0667 Main Packages, Manage Main Packages. It's in there. If you've never updated retropie, do that first. Choose "update all installed packages".

                    Thanks, found it, and mame4all was indeed installed. I got it to work now, rom path issue. Didn't know you had to change the rom path in both es_systems.cfg AND mame.cfg

                      @kraken0667 AH ok, I'm not sure. I don't use non-libretro emulators. Mame2000 should be listed as "installed" and that one shouldn't need any alteration.
