      Pi Model: 2B
      Power Supply: 2.5A 5.1V
      RetroPie Version: 4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: bluetooth dongle
      Controller used: NES30Pro
Emulator: default emulator for PSX games (is this lr-pcsx-rearmed ?)

I've placed scph1001.bin and scph1001.cue in the BIOS folder and a ROM (.bin and .cue) in the roms/psx folder. The game works fine except for in-game saves. A .srm file is created for the game in the roms/psx folder but when I go to load a saved game the "memory card" is empty.

      Really hope someone can help.

        Hi @luigi

How are you exiting the game when you've finished? Are you using the select + start combination to return to emulationstation.

Also are you shutting down cleanly from the EmulationStation menu before powering off?

          Hi @simonster

Yes, I'm using select + start to return to EmulationStation then shutting down cleanly before switching the power off.

If I save my progress in-game and then go back to the game's start menu (without stopping the emulator, just the game/level) then the "memory card" is blank and I can't load what I just saved.

Is there any way of digging deeper to find out what's going on?
