      Hi all

I am a true novice in every sense. I have my retro installed and have had no issues with NES, SEGA Gen, SNES etc.. but I am having issues with PSX. I put some ISO in the PSX folder but the Em doesn't show up.

I try to go to the config and update setup but I get a bunch of error messages all pertaining to Can't resolve Github..... and many say return 128

I tried in the retropie menu to connect to wifi (I was connected before) It says I can't connect. Also when I exit I am in a DIR for retropie and can't seem to get to the root dir or back to the desktop. Unfortunately, the image of retropie I copied goes straight into it on boot. I am embarrassed out how novice all this is for me, lol

@zacklee said in Psx Emulator help:

            VILROS .5V

            0.5V??

what issues? but let's deal with the issues around PSX launching first.

also, please fill out the rest:

File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable)
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
            How to replicate the problem:

when I try to install additional packages - pcsx-rearmed

              Error running 'git clone --recursive -- depth 1 https://github.com/notaz/pcsx_rearmed.git /home/pi/RetroPie-setup/tmp/build/pcsx-rearmed' - returned 128

I am not using browser on the pie itself. What is the path to the config files being asked for? I assume I can copy them to USB to post them.

@zacklee you don't need to install it, lr-pcsx is already on the system by default, plus the version you are trying to install is the standalone version which you don't want.

What is the path to the config files being asked for? I assume I can copy them to USB to post them.

no, you can't. but just fill out the other parts of the form and maybe it won't be necessary to look at configs/logs.

@zacklee You need to get the BIOS file SCPH1001.BIN and place it in: /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS

The BIOS file is not provided because it is essentially a ROM. Check out the PSX Wiki for more assistance. As for the errors when updating I am not sure, since it was pre-loaded I would format it and do a clean install of RetroPie.
