I have had my Pi3 set up with Retropie for awhile. Easy set up and now on 4.2. I am pretty good at following directions. I just started playing with scrapers. I have used the built in scraper and the Selph scraper. Same issue with both - the MAME section works perfectly and the images show up on main screen with the game folder when it is highlighted.
My other folders - Atari 2600, Atari 7800, NES, SNES, and N64 - all have the same issue. The main list of games gets no image or details. if I choose a game then still it is blank. I can hit down arrow and the image with details show up. I am adding pics. Sorry this is so long - I hope I made sense. Thank you in advance for any help.

Is the gamelist xml file just in the wrong place?

It seems to me that if this was the case then the MAME section would not be done properly, but it is.
