I'm sure there are many others here who are in the same boat, but considering the number of people who offer technical assistance, write scripts or software to solve a particular need, or design themes, I almost feel bad that I'm just making use of others technical ability (whereas I can work my way round a system, but certainly can't write code or have an eye for aesthetics).

I've donated to Retropie; what else can we do to help?

Feedback. Beta test something for someone, who needs to iron out bugs and test out features. I myself belong to the same boat as you do, I can't write code or create any software stuff at all, but nevertheless, I'm very keen to help people whenever I know something or then by just being tester for something new. And I know about the mechanical and electrical side of stuff, so definitely I can also share some of that information as well to help others. It's all about exchange of information in the end. :)

I am in the same boat. I try to help out and answer questions that I have technical knowledge of or having solved the same problems that I had with in the past. Like @DD-Indeed said, it's about exchange of information.

@hoodle I'm glad to see how the members of this community like to help each other and contribute some way. You are very welcome. :-)

A forum user named @jlachniet asked the same thing on another topic and you can find some suggestions there:
            https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/10700/how-can-non-programmers-contribute-to-retropie

Maybe we can continue the conversation there and @Global-Moderators can close this topic here to avoid duplication.

            Cheers!
