How to replicate the problem:change boot orderIm new so by gentle !!!!
I have installed an image using pie baker, launched it and all works great. added PS3 controller via BT and all is well.. updated packages etc again all is well.. enables SSH and its gone pete tong...
After installing SSH and rebooting as prompted, my pi now boots to CLI.. it asked me to change password for security reasons and now happily sits at the prompt retropie@.
launching sudo raps-config and looking at changing the boot order to desktop (emulation station isn't listed), reboots and I get a blank screen and flashing white cursor in top left and nothing responds...
I would like my pi to boot directly into Emulations station and not CLI but no option in Raspi config...
is there a way of having SSH enabled and my pi to boot into ES...
I have reformatted the drive twice and reinstalled the image.. i didn't have the issue until i enabled SSH... but a fresh image seems to enable it by default and disabling it doesn't work

I'm also gentle and thanks for the information you have given us.
At first: We don't provide support for premade images so please ask Jones for help.Use the image provided here and you might extract some data from your prebuild and add them to your own :)

Hi

This one is the HOTTEST Premade image ever created!
I'm a bit confused why SSH should break autostart, why is your prompt
retropie@
it should bepi@retropie
(if user pi on mashine retropie is present)Quick help:
What happens if you typeemulationstation
and press enter on SSH -
cool...
DL'ing as i type and will see what all the fuss is about :)

The PiBaker should work with this image. Then you've a working RetroPie and the forum will give you support.
For a quick overview:
- Enable WIFI without having a keyboard
- Enable SSH by just placing an empty file called
ssh
in partition you see on your MAC... (credentials for SSH are user: pi password: raspberry) - Alternate: enable SSH via RetroPie Menu (graphic interface) > got to Raspi-Config > Select 5 Interface Options > Select P2: SSH
