      Hey guys/gals. Have a unique question I can't seem to find any answers for.

      I have a Fire Stick Remote that I was using with OSMC without any issues. Now that I've been playing with RetroPie for a bit, I want to just add Kodi to the system. I got the remote paired fine, and it controls the Emulationstation just fine, but when I fire up Kodi it no longer detects input. I've noticed there are no bluetooth settings under Kodi with RP as there was under OSMC. Has anyone dealt with this or have any insight as to how to fix this issue? My whole setup depends on everything being "wife-friendly" lol.

          @lostless said in Firestick Remote/KODI:

          You're referring to where you setup the controllers under Kodi correct? I have tried that as well, still no inputs registered.

            @jlechner The bluetooth pairing options in RetroPie are for all the system/programs, there is no need to have another option in Kodi.

            It seems that for the Fire stick Remote to work in Kodi, some extra configuration is needed. Check this for what was done in OSMC:

              @rascas I had to take some of those steps when I used OSMC. Sadly, they do not exactly work or apply here. It's as if Kodi does not have "access" to the bluetooth adapter. Certainly appreciate the help though.

              Edit Update: The stick remote will not work in the Retroarch gui either, so maybe that will help somehow...

                Most of bluetooth devices work just fine in Kodi, if paired in the RetroPie option. The steps might not be exactly the same as OSMC.

                  @rascas mine was paired with retropie as mentioned. It doesn't work with kodi on retropie. I'm not running osmc anymore as mentioned.

                    @jlechner and it wont, unless you create some udev rules like they do in OSMC! Not sure, but yoi might need to install lircd also. Cant help you more because I don't have one fire stick.
