So Im re-doing a PS1 project and using the same overlay that Florian did a script/tool for. ITs the one with the CRT TV overlay graphic masking the sides of the image. I know this is configured for 1080P sets but was wondering if it will look off on a newer 4K TV? Will the TV's internal scaling sort it out or will the scan lines look wierd?

pi3 can only output at 1080p max (at least, at 60hz), so it depends on how your TV scales.

remind me how to fix output at 1080p on the Pi, just to avoid auto\handshake issues? Thanks.

Long time i used a LCD screen, has build an upright cabinet for it, spent hours and hours to find nearly realistic shaders... but at the end i use an old crt. So there are no latency problems cause of upscaling, no stuttering, and the result looks fantastic ;-)
