Eliminate all shell/dos screens or at least increase font size

RetroPie frequently displays dos/shell-like configuration menus and/or boot up messages or other shell messages. Ideally, these should all be done via Emulationstation or some other modern menu system that allows controllers and a virtual keyboard etc.
In the meantime, at least the fontsize of all these menus and messages should be increased. It is laughably small... looks like an old 80's MS-DOS computer.

@rsn8887 are you talking about all the text during boot? If so you can hide that. If not give some examples of the text you are talking about.

So RetroPie will be stuck with this laughable 80's era text-based user interface forever? Hard to believe, but I will accept it as necessary evil then.
EDIT: maybe laughable is too harsh at least it is functional and efficient and looks are not everything... although my first reaction on seeing it was to laugh because it reminded me of old MS-DOS apps from the 80's.
