Help. I can't get my trackball to work with mame2003. I have advmame romsets as Im told it works well with trackball roms but I can't seem to get the roms to load. Any help on where I put the bios for this emulator, maybe thats it? Thanks

It's confusing because my last image I had was using advmame and the roms loaded for me. This new image I'm using utalizes mame2003 and mame2010.. If I add the rom that worked in my previous image (example - centipede) and change the emulator to advmame, the rom won't load.. Am I missing something? Something else I need to transfer from my previous image to this one?

Sounds like you don't have the right rom set. MAME 2003 requires MAME 0.78 rom set. Have a google and you should be able to find it easy.

        Always check the wiki too:
        https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/MAME#lr-mame2003-mame-2003

I use the complete 0.78 Mame rom set and it works great with my trackball.

No BIOS should be required either, only samples if you want sounds for certain games. All in the wiki.

Ask the author of Motion Blue for support if you can't get it to work. Only the official Retropie image is supported here.
