SNES mini theme

Just had to create an account to say after being disheartened from missing out on the SNES Mini, seeing this theme made me dig out my Raspberry Pi and get to grips with RetroPie. It’s an awesome theme. Thanks a lot.
If you could add the music & sounds provided in those recent posts it’ll be perfecto!
Please add Nintendo DS (DraStic) graphics so I can play Mario Kart DS without switching themes.
Hi,
Welcome to the forum and I'm glad you like the theme.
NDS has been included with this from the start, there was an error in the very first version I released so that the NDS icon wouldn't appear but that was fixed very quickly, try installing the latest version if you're having problems.
Regarding music and sounds, ES currently only supports a list scroll sound effect and a launch sound effect (though this doesn't seem to work with instant transitions) so there is no way for me to incorporate all the sound effects into this.
Likewise background music is also not supported by ES, this is something you would need to add yourself.See this post by @synack for what I found to be the easiest way to setup background music: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/347/background-music-continued-from-help-support/43

@ruckage can you please check also missing supergrafx icon?
There is the background image but not he icon itself. :)Also amiga would be coool :)
Thanks for the massive work!

EDIT: OK nevermind, I changed my resolution to 1080p and the problem is gone. It was bad scaling at 720p
I've seen something that I can't unsee, a very small flaw... that became a huge problem for me lol
When you move to Atari, the instructions above move by few pixels (on the emulator selection AND roms selection menu). Since my transition style is set to "instant", I can see the instructions above move D:Any quick fix?
And THANKS A LOT for this amazing theme. Your theme actually sold me on getting retropie.

@bobibrown
Hi. Yeah you will get strange scaling errors when not displaying at 1080p as the theme is aimed at a 1080p display. Not sure why it would differ from system to system though as all the sytems use the same base xml file, must just be a quirk of EmulationStation. -
I recently found out about this excellent theme a few days ago from ETA Prime and I plan on using it for a Raspberry Pi 3 build I'm thinking of doing. Thank you Ruckage for making this great theme for us! :)

@ruckage fyi, since you are using theme variables, you shouldn't have to wrap the carousel theming with
<feature supported="carousel">

@triquick Thanks for the tip! I just followed this guide and it works great!

I not sure this is bug or something else...
I have a set of snes game(with chinese name) and i found that when i apply this theme it will get "segmentation fault" easily while i browse around the game list (with chinese name).Initially i suspect that it might be related with my roms...
but it seem not the reason as i found that it work perfectly on other theme...
thus ... i believe that might be something that not compatible with this theme.
Anyone can advise on this..?
sorry for my bad english... -
Probably something to do with the font of this theme. By the looks of it, I don't think the font supports Chinese characters.

@ruckage just want to say awesome work I love this theme and I was wondering if you have any plan to make a sega genesis 2 carousel_logo and a launching icon too. Thank you!

.Thanks, that will just be bit of left over that I forgot to delete from when it was needed in the past, I'll remove it in the next update.

sorry for my bad english...As @PokeEngineer said the fonts don't support Chinese characters so that would probably be the problem.

I could maybe make an alternative icon but the only real difference with the megadrive/genesis 2 is cosmetic, it's still the same system.

@ruckage How come I cannot find this on ESTHEMES? Someone told me it was up... but i only see the nes-theme

Awesome theme...great job!! I have a NESc and SNESc but rather use my Pi versions! Threw an old Pi2 into a NESPi case, using your NES Mini them, added the theme music to it and a custom bezel/overlay I made and I'm in NES heaven now. Thanks for the hard work and great theme! Now I just need the NESPi guys to make a SNESPi case so I can make a SNES only Pi station :)
Here's the NES overlay I made, now I just have to create one for SNES...will be the same look just different console/colors/images.

@skr1b update RetroPie Setup script, then you should see it.

Sorry if I missed this in all the comments, I did look. Wondering if there's a way for me to theme my custom collections. This theme is awesome, but it's also very different from the themes I've played with before.
I've made icons for the 2 custom collections. In other themes you just create a same-named system folder and ES picks up on it. Wonder where I would go in this theme to tweak a little to theme my custom collections.
They aren't as good as what ruckage would make on his own, but these are the 2 icons I made. I don't know the trick to get that blocky, aliased script like he does.

@hailtostarscream cool-thanks man, ill try that

I tweaked it a little for my personal use just to get it a little closer to the SNESc UI:
Extended the Power and Reset buttons to match original
Swapped nav bar/logo spots and replaced the stock logo with the original SNES logo as used on SNESc
Added the SNESc music to play as you browse games/config
Recreated the original background image as close as I could just by going off videos on youtube of walkthroughs
And I used Pomme's SNESc icon to see what it would look like..thanks :)While the SNES outline background is closer to the original, i like the SMB background just for the pop it adds.

@pomme many thanks, the icons look great. Could you perhaps make an icon with a PAL SNES?
