also you can set emulators to use your screen shape in the run command. Press a button during a game boot up and set it there. Do this so your games don’t run in 16x9

@lostless thank you for help. I managed to find the resolution menu, but only got squared resolutions. I think it's related to my screen.
-
@lostless this config corrected the misplacing game names!!! Thank you very much!!!

@kal-el-1981 is just me or this psp icon looks like a digital camera? If you could make it like GBA icon (half directional/screen/half buttons) will be better.

There it's any plans to approach the FBA subsystems like Capcom, Cave, CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, DataEast, Galaxian, Irem, Kaneko, Konami, Pacman, PGM, Psikyo, Sega, Taito, Technos, Toaplan, Misc Post 90's and Misc Pre 90's ?I won't be adding specific themes/images for lots of different collections as it's quickly getting out of hand. Just going by your list that 19 new sytems and at a conservative 1 hour to make images for each system it's at least 19 hours work. I also doubt many people would have need for them and it's unnecessary as there is a generic custom collections folder where unthemed collections appear. Alternatively just separate your roms into folders.

hey, installed this theme tonight and love it, only have 1 issue though. i have a few games list in my menu that dont appear. i have
cave, cps1, cps2, cps3, dataeast, galaxian, irem, kaneko, konami, midway, pacman, pgm, psikyo, sega, seta, taito, technos, toaplan.none of these have a custom image so they just show up as white text.
This will be because you've manually added these as systems and not used the collections feature built into ES. Use collections and these systems will appear in the custom collections folder. Alternatively separate you roms into folders within the Mame/Fba roms folder.

Using SNES mini - love it and added pspminis.png in art/icons and icons_usa , it works and looks great, however I can't seem to upload to your github (i'm not that good with that tool)
I'm not currently accepting contribution to the Github as I wish to work on the theme alone. I don't plan to add a specific psp mini section at the moment but maybe later (is it really needed - why not just have a folder within the psp section?).

I'm happy with my PSP icon so it will be staying as it is.

when i use the SIMPLE-BIG-ART theme these all show up with their own logo, i have tried adding them again with the collections feature but again nothing is working. Are there images for these for these sets in the skin at all? if not no worries.
-
@danielmewhouse I like @ruckage 's icons just like they are. I only make small alterations for my own personal use for extra collections that I have that aren't currently supported in his theme.
-
@ruckage And this is the beauty of open source and Github - people can fork to support the consoles you don't have the energy to deal with and you can keep your version untouched.

Where in gods name did all of these people come from? 😧

This is amazing, truly amazing. Thank you.
-
@ruckage Sorry man, I thought it's a custom icon, not an official. I've recently used a sony cybershot on vacation and this icons resembles me that camera, but it's a great icon, like the others done by you.

In a community that's all about building on top of each other's work and improving things together, that's very disappointing (minus the commercial distribution prohibited, which is a great idea, not that anyone will pay attention anyways as we all know...)
Oh well, good luck to you.
-
Is this theme compatible (improved?) from using this guys square boxart?
-
Just ignore this post, I've said garbage 😅
-
@baz if you wanna use the box arts without mod the theme, you could do it manually, replacing the scrapped images with the new ones.
-
@zerojay you're coming off as a hater and a troll, bud. You're right that this community is about building together, but first and foremost it's about respect. Respect the fact that he's building this the way he wants. It's not like he isn't open to suggestions, just submissions.
My suggestion is to build your own theme. More details can be found here: RetroPie Themes
Best of luck.

Uh... "good luck to you" in a post where I said nothing at all negative about the theme creator or his work and even mentioned a positive comes across as "being a hater" to you? Turn the sensitivity knob down a bit.
Also, I don't care about what some random person thinks about what I said. It has nothing to do with you so your post is purely to try to start trouble. If the theme author has a problem with what I said, he can tell me himself, he doesn't need you to do it. You're the one acting like a troll here and I'm done giving you the satisfaction.

@zerojay thanks! "that's dissapointing" and "oh well, best of luck" sounded like subtle jabs. Flagged our responses for moderator removal. Hope you can bring this off thread next time you need to criticize, even subtly, someone's workflow.
