Recommendations on best homebrew games for each system for video purposes?
-
I did an un-boxing video for all my components and then a video on the build for my podcast digitalSoup. Now I want to do a video demonstration on the system but I want to stay legal for the video. Can anyone recommend a homebrew ROM or two to demonstrate how well the emulators work and how sharp there are on an HD TV?
Thanks in advance!

@gameguru what is against forum rules is to show where to download pirated ROMs/softwares. A video with a gameplay is OK.
But if you want recomendations for homebrew games, this is the thread: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/8792/big-rom-hacks-homebrew-thread

I can't get in trouble for playing a copyrighted ROM in a video?

@gameguru not sure what kind of trouble are you talking about, but the forum rules only says about posting links to where to download ilegal ROMs. There's nothing about playing.

@gameguru the only trouble you'll run into is monetisation issues. YouTube is built on people playing games. YouTube has built in code to detect when you're playing copyrighted content and then they automatically put ads up on your video but instead of you getting monetisation it goes to Nintendo.
The way around this is to play gameplay of multiple games so multiple companies have claim which means none of them can monetise on your video as YouTube can't give preferential treatment.
Just in case you were curious anyways... Another way around it would be to mute the gameplay as well I believe
