MAME2003 on x86 (32 bit) and AMD RV280 without shader support
-
Hi,
after I installed retropie 4.2.20 (6ea7f00) on top of a devuan jessie install (essentially debian without systemd on a 32 bit only Intel Xeon), I can't get MAME2003 to work, because my graphic card (an AMD RV280 based one) does not support shaders (log from a start of a game):
... [INFO] [GL]: Vendor: Mesa Project, Renderer: Mesa DRI R200 (RV280 5C61) x86/MMX/SSE2 DRI2. [INFO] [GL]: Version: 1.3 Mesa 10.3.2. After that, it dumps core.
My humble question is: is there a hidden option to switch off shaders before compiling RetroPie? Or have I just go out and buy another cheap card with MESA shader support? That the emulatorstation screen does not look as good as advertised would not be an issue for me....
BTW: VICE runs well, thanks to you guys, played 2 hours of "Fort Apocalypse" yesterday ;-)
TIA,

OK, I've bought a card with shader support. Grmpf... But now no errors anymore ;-)
