      Hi!
I've installed retropie to my server using the official guide. The installation was successful, but when I try to launch it my xinit or startx, emulationstation can't handle any input tried keyboard and wired USB X360 controller with using Xboxdrv.
On the configuration screen I see the message which can lead to exit by pressing F4, but when I press it nothing happens.

When I run Kodi with startx or xinit the keyboard works fine, but the x360 controller is not working.
Is there any solution for running emulationstation and emulators without using a window manager? Am I missing some important permissions?

I try to provide some information about my setup:

      • uname -a: Linux sudosu-fujitsu 4.9.0-3-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.30-2+deb9u5 (2017-09-19) x86_64 GNU/Linux,
      • These groups added to my user: sudosu tty dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev users input netdev,
      • All packages up to date.
      • Using Debian without any WM, always used it as Kodi media player and NAS to access my data.

If you need more information, don't be shy ask for it! :)
      Thanks!

Is the keyboard plugged into a USB2.0 or USB3.0 slot?
