Hi guys, hoping you could help please. I bought a couple of UGREEN USB to RS232 9 pin converters from Amazon to use with my original Competition Pro Joysticks on my Pi2. They're not recognised in Emulation Station, fair enough, but even though I've got the Pi to recognise that the adapters are plugged in, when I run jstest /dev/input/js0 it recognises that I have the device plugged in, but does not respond to any button presses/joystick movement. I have tested the joysticks on my C64 and they work fine, so am not sure what the problem could be. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

@deeobat the manufacturer confirmed that the cable is not compatible with Retropie. Oh well.
