Amiberry on Raspberry Pie and games prepared for WHDLoad not being found [SOLVED]

Controller used: 2 iBuffalo SNES controllers
Error messages received: No files to load

Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide):[removed]
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable) AmiberryHello,
I just pulled my hair out in getting Amiberry to load WHDload prepared Amiga games.
My setup:
All .UAE files are locate in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga/
Every game is located in its own directory in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoadThe games are shown in the Amiga section of Emulationstation.
If I try to start a game, the loading screens always show:Scanning ... whdloadgame:
0 WHDLoad slave files identified
No files to load.Here is an example of one configuration file ( file and directory section):
**; Hard Drives
filesystem2=rw,DH0:DH0:/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/_BootWHD/,10
uaehf1=dir,rw,DH0:DH0:/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/_BootWHD/,10filesystem2=rw,DH1:games:/home/pi/Retropie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/,0
uaehf0=dir,rw,DH1:games:/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/,0;filesystem2=rw,DH2:HDFGame:/home/pi/Retropie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/,32,1,2,512,50,,uae
;hardfile2=dir,rw,DH2:HDFGame:/home/pi/Retropie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/,32,1,2,512,50,,uae; CD32
cd32cd=0
;cdimage0=/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/Apidya.cue,image**Strange thing is, if I quit the screen with F12 back to the Amiberry emulator and browse for the device DH1 (Volume "games") to
the directory shown in the config file (/home/pi/Retropie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya) the game starts without any problem.This happens to any game. They always can be started while using F12 after the unsucessfull boot and browse to the right directory.
So I guess it is a path issue, but I can't fin the error (nearly spend the whole last night to find it).
I viewed the youtube video from horaceandthespider for how to setup Amiberry back and forth and did all the things being shown there ( also sudo chown -hR pi:pi /home/pi/RetroPie)
Every help and/or suggestions are very welcome.

hi @SutterKane
first let me warn you that your link to the Guide used does contain protected content, so please remove it as this doesn't comply with rules on this forum (I've done the same mistake once so no worries just edit it and no harm will be made!).
Then glad to see you're using Amiberry and WHDLoad packages :) I'll do my best to assist but if you don't mind I'd like to keep things as clean as possible. Hence if we could continue on the following thread that would be great. This is where I gave details and working uae files for many different configurations and games.
Please let's continue here, if you don't mind => Amiberry thread
To answer your question, a path issue seems logical indeed. I share some uae files in the official thread but it won't help a lot in that case as I've sorted files and directories slightly differently. Could you please describe the structure you have under each game directory? Let's reuse Apidya as in your post. Under
/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga-data/Games_WHDLoad/Apidya/
do you have a file named afterApidya.slave
(along with other files and a directory)? There should be also a file calledwhdscript_debug
within game directory. If you open it with a text editor it should give further details on what happened during loading. Last question do you know the version of the WHDLoad package you're using for this game please? The latest package for Apidya as of typing is2.05 - 09/2009
.Please post your answers on the other thread.
Thanks and happy gaming! -

I am tired of repeating this.

hi @BuZz I feel bad as I may have inavertendly pointed you out to @SutterKane's post :( The issue here is that the guide provided by @SutterKane is in fact the best you could find on the Net and it's tailored especially to work with Retropie. It's precious material and an amazing intro to WHLoad packages. Yet it's true that on the very same site games and roms can be downloaded as well... To be honest I'm desperate to edit or add a section about Amiberry and WHDLoad to the Wiki/Docs of Retropie but I don't know how to proceed (and if I should).
Any chance you give a second chance to @SutterKane please?
Last if you could kindly point me out on how to add a section about that in the official Retropie's doc that would help a lot and avoid such situation hopefully in the coming future. Let me know of course if you disagree. I'm 100% convinced Amiberry+Whdload packages are the best way to emulate and enjoy this amazing machine the Amiga was.
Meanwhile I try to keep track of everything in the "main thread" I've opened a while ago.
Thanks

@nemo93 They have a 2 day ban and I am not going to remove it. I also don't care whether it's a good guide or not.
I also have better things to do than write this reply to you. Please don't waste my time.
If this is a problem, I will be happy to remove you from the forum also.

Hello.
First : Sorry for posting the forbidden link and for the troubles between @Buzz and @nemo93 caused by this.
Second: Thanks for any given suggestion related to the problem.The issue was solved in simply run the UAE Configmaker again against the Directory containing the Gaming Data.
https://github.com/HoraceAndTheSpider/UAEConfigMaker
( I guess the link above is OK).
best regards,
