Steven Selph's Scraper not installing
-
Let me preface this by stating that I'm somewhat of a noob in Retropie.
I've built a couple of Retropie systems (all on Raspberry Pi 3), and copied roms through my network (wired) connections. All worked ok, but with the latest build something happened when I installed sselph scraper. There was an error log created, but I cannot navigate to that directory (it isn't shown.) The system hung, and I had no choice to cycle the power rather than do a proper shutdown.
The result of this is that I cannot make any changes to the sd card. Anything that is installed or uninstalled reverts back to the the state just after I cycled the power. I have tried deleting roms off of the sd card through the network connection, through the file manager in RetroPie, through the command line on the pi, etc (all with shutdowns afterwards) to no avail. I've tried to uninstall RetroPie and then shutdown, and upon reboot RP is still there. I've even tried to format the SD card itself again using a few different programs, with the only difference is that a 'quick' format completes, where a 'full' format does not.
Another error I get is when I try to uninstall sselph on it's own; I get the same 'error' log that I cannot access.
Is there a way to force this uninstall, or change rights on files (or dirs) to install this? I know I can just buy another SD card, but it's a matter of principle now. ;)
Thanx for reading - any help is appreciated.

What you're describing sounds like the SD card has corrupted dude. Have you got another you could try?

@markyh444 - Yes. I tried using a different card and was successful. Thank you for the reply!
