Games Moving Slower In 2 Player
-
[Hi
I am fairly new to this. I have a Raspberry pi3 that I bought as a bundle from a seller on eBay (They also have their own website). It came with Sony PS3 Wireless Controllers, a standard UK 2.5A 5.1V power supply and an ultra fast micro SDHC card UHS-I high performance card.
I have been using the system fine and loving playing retro games for a couple of weeks. However I had my brother over earlier and we played a few games 2 player. The games were moving a lot slower than usual when we were jointly playing, as soon as one of us was eliminated from the game the speed would pick back up to normal again, if the 2nd player re-entered the game it would run slower again. Any ideas or advice as to why this is happening or how I could overcome it would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards

You gave absolutely zero details that anyone can use to help you with.

Have you contacted the seller? That is really your best source of support for your setup, especially if the system came loaded with the software you are running. We can’t possibly support a system that was setup by some seller on eBay.

@thegoffather2 selling retropie is illegal. You've been bamboozled.

You'll have to ask the seller for support (and why they think it's ok to sell other peoples work). Or start from scratch with a fresh image.

@zerojay Apologies, as I said, I am fairly new to this. What else do you need to know?

@herb_fargus What do you mean? I am not advertising to sell anything. Like I said I am new to this so if you could help me understand, I would be grateful

@thegoffather2 I mean retropie is free, and someone took what is meant to be free and sold it for their own profit against the licences that say retropie cannot be sold. So they are selling it illegally. Since the software didn't come from here we have no idea what was done to it (which could include malware) so therefore we have no idea how to help.
This is all explained in the link above and the read me first page which you agreed to read when signing up for the forum.
https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first
So your options are to contact the person who sold it to you for support. Or if you want support from here you'll have to start with the stock SD image we provide (which I will guarantee as malware free) as described on this page.

@herb_fargus Ah right, thanks for your help. I did not realise that. I think I need to do some more research to learn more about it. Apologies if I broke any rules. Thanks Again
