Exited Emulation Station, Pi No Longer Boots
-
I was running the scraper via a command line, ssh'd into my Pi. The scraper said to exit Emulation Station to make sure there weren't any conflicts, so I did. When I restarted the Pi by power cycling it, it no longer boots. I have tried re-loading retropie onto the SD card, and even tried formatting the card first. Pi still will not boot.
I tried booting the Pi with the SD card removed, and the LEDs are solid red. When I boot it with the SD card installed, the red LED blinks. Is this an indication of a bad SD card?
Does anyone have any tips to troubleshoot?

Wondering if my SD card went bad somehow, only after very minimal use. Going to order a replacement to see if that's it, to try to narrow down variables.

@kbadr Judging by the LED color, it seems your card might have problems. Here is a list of possible LED colors and their meaning - https://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting#Red_power_LED_is_blinking

@mitu Hmm. Replaced the card, reloaded retropie; still nothing. This is frustrating.
I am still getting blinking red LEDs with the new SD card. It emits an audible high pitched noise.
Again, when I remove the SD card, the LEDs no longer blink.
I guess I'll try a new power supply next.

This turned out to be a bad power source, by the way. Replaced the power adapter and it booted up fine.
