Has anyone noticed the glitched graphical mess while choosing a character in Chaotix? Has anyone got around to fix it? It plays well with the gl video driver, for sure, but I believe it is an emulator limitation, as it is normal with other 32X-capable emulators, like Fusion. For the record, I also own a GCW Zero with Picodrive installed, and that didn't support 32X, so I take it it's the emulator, not the video driver. Are there any other 32X-capable emulators?

picodrive it's the only libretrocore that supports 32x, but you can give a try with DGen but it's harder to set up and felts like needs more hardware power to run

@lodan-zark I have tried dgen, but it yields the Super32X error screen. Does dgen have a specific config file or something that allows me to say the ROM is a 32X ROM? It'a only because it thinks it's just in the Genesis.

@askalangly I can't really speak to how things are currently, as I haven't completed my new build yet. I have maybe an hour-long window to work on it every few nights. I can say my old RetroPie 3.6 build on a Pi3 has absolutely no apparent issues with 32X that I have witnessed, and that's out of the box without tweaks. I'm in the process of building a handheld with a Pi-Zero and I'm hopeful 32X with run at playable speeds but I have not tested this yet. I will likely know Friday night sometime as this will be one of the first things I test.

If it also happens on Kega Fusion, it's going to happen on real hardware.

If it's excluve to PicoDrive, try updating the core because there has been some major improvement in 32X emulation (exclusive to the core, not the base code).

Else, you'll have to live with it because there's no other portable open source 32X emulator (until it gets fixed).
