      To revert a screwed retroarch.cfg is possible, but slightly involved, but it's a situation that comes up quite a lot in the forums/reddit.

      I think it would be a nice idea to have this as a generic option for each system in the package manager. Since default retroarch.cfgs are already created during initial install, or update (as retroarch.cfg.rp-dist), i think/hope it should be pretty simple to implement.

        @dankcushions it would be a lot of work to do, as would require separating out all the config copying and redoing each module. Maybe for a future refactoring. Not something I want to see done now.

        For retroarch alone it could be simpler, but still probably not as straight forward as it may seem.
