      I have tried and tried and I am still unable to install Retropie. It keeps hanging up on Emulationstation. I have tried even installing it separately under the Core Files section, but still to no avail. Here is the error I receive;

        I think you might need a newer compiler, gcc-4.8 might be too old to be able to build ES. Can you try installing a newer toolchain version - gcc 4.9 at least ?
