I'm playing a .pbp file of ff7 that I downloaded on RetroPie 4.2 with lr-pcsx-rearmed, and it works just fine until the end of disc 2. Right when the last FMV of disc 2 is about to load (the one where the Highwind transforms), the screen just goes black but the music is still playing. This occurs when disc 2 is loaded, and I can't progress beyond this point. Any advice?

@barmanphysics Is it possible to use your save file on a same region version of FFVII in the bin cue format? I think you would have to rename the save file to the name of the third cd.
It's possible the eboot format is causing the issue, due to a bad conversion.

@BobHarris I tried it with the bin cue format, and the same save file. I got the same error. The FMV doesn't load, but the music keeps playing in the background with a black screen.

@barmanphysics Is the save file a STATE save or did you use an ingame save point? If it's ingame, then you could also try the other ps1 emulators, to see if it's related to the emulator you're using. (I'm not 100% sure if you can use save files between emulators.)
I am planning to play FFVII on my Pi but it will take months before I'm where you are now.
