      Hello everyone,
I am currently running the "32GB RetroPie 4.2 Image for pi3 by MadLittlePixel. Everything has been working smoothly since I set everything up but now that I have decided to add some additional games I am having a few issues.

The first being that though I am able to transfer over all of my italian language roms and see them in the proper place they will not play. I either get a black screen from which I have to quit out of or I am automatically bounced back after some time. I even tried unzipping one (chronotrigger snes) but it made no difference. I assumed that they simply weren't compatible but upon adding a normal rom (ninja five-0 gba) I found that it wouldn't even appear after transferring.

Lastly, I added an iso of snatcher for the sega cd hoping it would force the sega cd console to appear in my console menu but alas it did not.

Any help rendered would be much appreciated, especially in regards to the italian games.

      thanks.

        1. Make sure you are using an official image, or have done a manual install yourself. We will not support 3rd party images.

ah I did read that first but didn't know that my image wasn't official. in fact I'm not sure what constitutes an official image. can anyone enlighten me? Once I know I'll find one and try the process again.

okay I have successfully installed the latest ver of rasberry pi 2/3 and have loaded it with my italian language roms but I'm having the same problem of them launching to a black screen. Can anyone share some insight as to why this is happening. Ninja five-0 is now working though, however that is a normal usa ver.

@sebastianceg Are you sure the ROM files (italian) are good/correct ? Enable verbose logging with the RunCommand launch menu (https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/) and paste the contents of the log file - /dev/shm/runcommand.log - to pastebin.com or similar site to see if we spot any errors.
