      Upgraded the retropie version and all the system packages.
      Attempted to build vice from source on a Raspberry pi with 4.2 retropie

      It bombed out. A look at the logs showed the following error:

      Making all in scpu64
      gcc: Internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1)
      Please submit a full bug report

      Looks like the scpu64 code (which is experimental in vice anyway), is causing gcc to crash.
      Either that or gcc is bugged

      Is retropie using an unstable build of vice? I can't tell.
