      Hi
      I have retropie 3
      I have a usb keyboard

What is the correct way to configure the keyboard in emulation station ?
When I select input config from emulation station the system is asking to map keys that are clearly for a jobpad not for a keyboard example: left trigger, left shoulder etc etc
Usually and ending up skipping 99% of these keys (I don't what I should use to map them)

They keyboard works but I want to make sure that is mapped correctly for any emulators (like amiberry) that is suppose to use a standard keyboard for many tasks

      Cheers
      D

@pemy There is no "one size fits all" for keyboard users, but you could standardize by using MAME defaults. Those of us who use keyboard controllers like the Ultimarc IPAC usually have these wired to arcade controls. This situation is not the same has yours, as you are citing a computer emulator as opposed to arcade games, but the challenge is similar. What keys should be linked to what typical joypad/gamepad buttons? Ultimately, this is up to you. You can google MAME default keys.
