Is there a way to browse the internet on retropie on raspberry pi 3???

@djpj3000 To add to the previous response. To my knowledge you will need to install the LXDE or PIXEL desktop, then install chromium and wallah, you have an internet browser on a functional desktop. Last time I checked, it was possible to install the PIXEL desktop via the RetroPie setup script. Once installed you simply exit EmulationStation with F4 on your keyboard and type "startx" at the command prompt. You can install Chromium in the terminal application once on the PIXEL desktop with the command "sudo apt-get update", then "sudo apt-get install chromium-browser". It should appear under the Internet section of the start menu (or whatever its called in Linux). I'm not aware of any way to run it from EmulationStation, though that doesn't mean there isn't a way necessarily.

@drake999 Just to add, if you don't want to install the full desktop environment the @zerojay retropie-extra repo allows chromium and iceweasel / firefox to be installed with just the matchbox window manger. This then appears in the
PORTS
section.
