PSX, Sega CD, Nintendo DS, and Dreamcast emulators not launching
-
So i just updated to RetroPie 4.3 and i installed the Reicast emulator i have .cue files for all of my sega cd and psx games and when i tried to launch Dragon Ball GT Final Bout it crashed and sent me back to the menu my .pbp files did work but for some strange reason Steven Selph's Scraper did not scrape half of my PSX games, and it did not scrape MS-DOS and it also did not scrape videos even though i did everything on ETA Prime's sselph video scraping video. I also tried to launch one of my Sega CD .cue files, Sonic CD, but it crashed too. It also did not scrape Dreamcast and it also crashed when i tried to run a game. Same thing with NDS, gave me a black screen with the drastic fps thing when i launched a game, it also did not get scraped at all along with my PSP games, can someone help me out? I have the Showcase theme.

@raider2747 inside your cue files the bin/iso name needs to 100% match the bin/iso name. All caps and lowercase have to be the same. Even in the .bin and .iso part of the name.

yeah but i got rid of all my .bin files and i don't know what were their names
-
@raider2747 the bin file is the actual data. You remove those, games won’t launch.
-
Oh no..... This is really bad..
-
What if the games have multiple .bin files? Like Batman Gotham City Racer?
-
@raider2747 That's why the .cue file is needed - its contents describe how the game data/music is distributed in the .bin files. If you open a .cue file (which is nothing but a text file) you'll see that.
