      Hi,

In the documentation I see 2 examples of running ROMS from USB.

      The first is: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/First-Installation#transferring-roms
      The second one is: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive

Using the first I was able to run ROMS from USB and the USB is mounted after reboot. So way do I need the second one? Is this old?

@blup The first method copies the roms from the usb stick to the card. The second method keeps them on the stick to save space and whatnot.

I only followed the first. Does this mean that ROMS are copied to the SD card and my ROMS are loaded from the SD?

Yes, just try it. Shutdown your Pi and remove your stick. Then restart, you should be able to play your roms.

Indeed I can load the ROMS without the USB connected.
I want them to stay om my USB or Network so I will try the second link also.
              Thx for the information.
