      Does anyone understand why this is happening? Before the video snap loads I can see the art just fine:

      Once it starts playing though it's like it's in front of the art:

        @dover19 you are using the omx video player which does not take into account z position of objects in emulation station. It just always plays on top. If you switch it off in the start menu and then other settings, VLC now plays the video and does take into account of the z position. Problem is VLC is software rendering and is not very good and can glitch up. OMX is using hardware to render and runs very well.

          Exactly, so basically there's no good solution lol, not if I want to keep this layout/theme.
