How to change PS3 bluetooth controller from being Retropad1 to Retropad3
-
Hello, all.
When I was first playing around with my Retropie, I set up a PS3 bluetooth controller as my Retropad1 and it worked perfectly. I then got a two joystick Ultimarc ipac2 control scheme and reassigned everything to them and was happy.
Now I want to configure my PS3 controller to be my third controller for more than 2 multiplayer games (Arcade The Simpsons, TMNT, etc.).
I turned on my Retropie and hit the power on button on my PS3 controller and saw that it was still working on the Retropie. Good so far...
I then went into "The Simpsons" on mame2003 and in the General Input and mapped all the controls on the PS3 to player 3. Still working.
I then started up the game and found my problem. The Retropie still thinks the PS3 controller is Retropad1 and mirrors controller 1 on my ipac2 control stick 1. So Marge and Bart move together no matter which controller does input (1 or 3).
Is there a config file I can go into the force the PS3 to be reassigned as Retropad3 and not mirror my controller 1? Eventually I want to add a second PS3 controller as Retropad4.
Thanks!
