Retropie questions
-
Hello everyone new guy here to the pi scene and had a few questions. I've already learned all from showering these forums but I do have 3 questions for this fantastic community.
First is in 4.3 I can't for the life of me seem to find kodi where itbshoukd be. Maybe the beer killed 1 too many brain cells?? Lol
Second is the emulation interface. How can I set the emulators up so when you open ex snes it shows box set maybe description and maybe screen shot??
Lastly when networking games over it says genesis folder in accessible so I put games in mega drive. This works but however is wrong.
Anyways any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Kodi is not installed out of the box, needs to be specifically installed from the optional packages - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/KODI/

To show the box art and game metadata you need to 'scrape' the games, so this information is searched and downloaded from the internet, stored on your system and displayed whenever you're selecting a game - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Scraper/

No, it's not. Megadrive ~= Genesis, it's the same system (and folder). If you'd like to display Genesis instead of Megadrive - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/EmulationStation/#platformscfg-edits for how to configure this.
