Mame 2003 lost my tab menu :(

I tried to remove the default config in the retropie>roms>arcade>mame2003?config folder

restarted and still no tab menu :(

@dankcushions Could I maybe have to delete the driver for the keyboard and re-add it? If so do you know where the config is for the keyboard?
