I changed monitors, now the runcommand menu runs in a tiny tiny image in the center of my screen, and i can't access it, it just disappears after 3 seconds and the emulator launches. any bash people who can help me figure this out? there is nothing in the /dev/shm/runcommand.log, and i can't find anything in the config files, maybe a videomode thing? if i press the x/y buttons, i get text on the bottom that says "[readonly mode, use --edit]" or something like that.

@gomisensei What resolution is your monitor ? Maybe the font is too tiny and the window is too small - try https://retropie.org.uk/docs/FAQ/#how-can-i-increase-the-console-font-size

well, console is fine when i exit emulationstation, and the readonly mode error shows up correctly on the bottom of the screen, also the splashscreen before i hit 'a' for the menu, and the game . it almost looks like when i hit the menu key, it shrinks the splash to a tiny centered image, but the menu doesn't show.

figured it out, i guess i was interacting with the utility that shows the launch screen... to get to the runcommand menu, i have to press 'A' AFTER the launch image goes away, is this normal behavior?

@gomisensei Yes it is, when you enable launch images.
