Whenever i try to change the meta data of a game i get to this screen with the retropie joystick on it i can't type comands it says at the very top terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std: :out_of_range' what( ): map: : at aborted
instead of it saving i don't know why or how to correct what has gone wrong it worked fine before i set up the Bluetooth and pcengine cd game

@retroboy6 Are you trying to change the metadata within emulation station?
Or is this after editing the gamelist.xml manually and starting up again? The reason I ask is that the first thing I thought of was that maybe your gamelist.xml was malformed with a syntax error or mismatched pair.
But when that has happened to me it usually just results in ES not displaying the games rather than a crash. But it could be that some particular way your xml is errored is causing ES to crap out instead.

Are you trying to add metadata to a game file, or to a folder? There was a bug that would prevent saving of metadata when applying to a folder. This was fixed by @pjft, but the change may not have made it outside the Emulation Station development branch yet.
