      Hey Guys,

I need help to configure my Switchberry.
I installed and configured my Raspberry Pi Zero with the latest Retropie Image.

The Problem is that both JOY CONs are seperate bluetooth controllers. I want to make them to act like one Controller to controll Player One with two seperate Controller.
I'm using the original Joy Cons.

Here some pictures of my setup.

Shouldn't you just left it at switch?

            Very nice project!

I want to make them to act like one Controller to controll Player One with two seperate Controller.

You'll need an external mapping solution that can map two controllers into a single third virtual controller. I've never tried it, but Linux Joystick Mapper claims to have this ability. You could also use any solution that allows the controllers to be key-mapped. You would assign keyboard keys to both controllers and then then assign all those keys to the player one settings of whatever emulator/port you want.

If you wanted to keep the ability to 'switch' the single controller setup back into two controllers on the fly for multiplayer options, you could use xboxdrv. To do this, you would key-map both controllers to player one and and add a button combo that would invoke a script, killing the current map and launch a new one. The new script would have different keymappings to where Joycon one would mirror the previous two Joycon map and Joycon two would now have a new set of keys mapped that would correspond with player two settings.

Of course there are many ways to do things. Instead of a button combo, you could potentially get the maps to toggle using a udev rule and the whole setup could then behave much more like the Switch by enabling and disabling one and two players functions as the controllers are attached and detached.

Thanks. I will try the Joystick Mapper.

@Teeqla I was skimming the internet trying to do a project similar to yours and was wondering if you have had any success with the Linux Joystick Mapper and if you might be able to share it if you have?
