I'm working on a build using Adafruit Retrogame to turn GPIO button presses into key strokes. I'm using the base 4.3 jessie image for Pi Zero with no updates while I am testing hardware and debugging.

Retrogame works great in EmulationStation and in games. I find that during the "press a button" message that runcommand displays while a game is launching, no mater what button I press, it doesn't seem to work. When I use a "real" controller via USB, I can get into the runcommand menu just fine, it's only a problem with Retrogame. Has anyone else experienced this? Has it been addressed during a software update since the initial release?

@obsidianspider in the runcommand option in Retropie menu is the an option to enable/disable the keyboard like there is for the joystick and is it enabled?

@edmaul69 Ah, that was it. I switched it to:

Launch menu joystick control (currently: Disabled)

          and now it works.

I can press Start and get into the runcommand menu. Thanks!
