Nah, only if they release 94-98 together with the arranged soundtracks. The only way to play them with the ast's and without the music restarting/loading screens after each round is the ps2 version.

@darksavior Add 99 and 2000 to the list aswell. They have a great Soundtrack too.
Didn't know the ps2 version is working this way. I don't know why they always does it as cd tracks. They could use the lesser quality, but compressed streams like in the days of psx of many games. I think in games like Psychic Force.Anyway, the versions on Steam are emulated Neo Geo module versions with added networking. But for years there was a community doing this... But SNK is short of money and cannot do much more than basic "ports". Look at what Capcom is doing, the upcoming Street Fighter collection!

@redbatman They have not resources for it. You know, SNK was broke and Playmouth brought them and they did some infamous KoF versions until SNK came back with original developers. Their last hope was in newest 3D based KoF and it was a success. Now they try to make some profit the fast way with easy ports. So, if they continue with success, I bet someday we could get Samsho and Metal slug successor. And with the possibilities of new consoles and pcs there is nothing what could stop.

@redbatman It depends on the reason why it gets bad reviews. Probably the emulation is not good. There are some SNK ports which have bad reputation.
