$
i don't know what platform i have so i cod this
$ sudo __platform=imx6 ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.shbut the build not successful
I tried to change the platform to rpi2 the same think
What is the problem?
-
@majed The problem is that your platform is not supported by RetroPie - as the setup script tells you.
-
@mitu so what's the solution
-
I would need a board, and maybe I could get some parts working. Board looks like powervr which I assume would be X11 only and GLES. Without the hardware I can't support it, but for you the best bet would be just to get a Raspberry Pi if you want to run RetroPie. Or someone else who is a developer to submit changes to support the board.
-
@majed So, it seems the install you did was for an x86 processer...
the roseapple pi is an ARM....
An unsupported workaround would be to remove ubuntu and try and install raspbian first, then run a manual install
https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Manual-Installation/
Bear in mind that this may not work
-
@majed please report here if it does or does not work...
-
@drakaen391 I don't think Raspbian would work for that board.
@majed See if Lakka would work on your board, it has broader hardware support. -
I did it
first thing i build EmulationStation and SDL2
And tried again succeeded
some packages i installed manuallyActually I did not expect it to work Because it is not like a raspberrypi
but its work
