      Hello,

      I've recently downloaded and installed the official 4.4 version...added nothing but a small 17 sec vid in the splashscreen folder .mp4 format. The vid and audio play perfectly, but half way through I can see Emulation Station loading in the background and the Retropie main screen before my splash screen vid finishes. I had this same issue on the previous 4.3 stretch image. Using a 3B+ and currently using hdmi to dvi to a PC monitor. Running audio through external speakers for a barcade I'm working on.
